John has over 38 years experience as a CPA managing a local accounting practice before joining ICG.  He has expertise in consulting with family and small businesses and can help clients with their tax, retirement, and estate planning. He also has experience guiding business owners in management, acquisitions and/or divesting of their ownership interests, as well as assistance with operational and accounting matters.

John served for 15 years as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Families Network of Western CT, Inc., a child abuse prevention organization. He recently stepped down, but maintains a roll as a volunteer.

John grew up working in a family business before going back to school to earn his master’s degree and become a CPA.

He enjoys traveling, reading, taking personal interest education courses, and hiking.
