This May, members of our team had the privilege of spending the day volunteering at the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary in Newtown, Connecticut. The sanctuary was established in memory of Catherine, a young girl whose love for animals and gentle spirit continues to inspire. Catherine tragically lost her life in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, and the sanctuary was created to carry on her legacy of compassion and kindness.

Throughout the day, our team worked together to weed and care for the sanctuary’s vibrant gardens, an important part of maintaining the peaceful environment that supports its mission. The sanctuary is dedicated to providing lifelong care for animals in need, offering humane education programs for all ages, and preserving natural habitats so animals can live freely and safely.
